Garden DesignFest is the largest designer open garden weekend held in Melbourne. Started under the patronage of John Patrick this event commenced in 2004 and has since raised some $400,000 for worthwhile charities. The event attracts visitors locally, interstate and internationally.
The 2016 event continues to account for every possible taste from family to formal, traditional to artistic and native to Hollywood. This year not only will there be a large variety of metropolitan gardens but also a number of spectacular large gardens in rural Victoria and the Mornington Peninsula split across two consecutive weekends.
Each designer and their staff will be in attendance at their garden to meet and talk with visitors about their garden and answer any questions they have....
